[28.09.22] Special workshop on reducing energy demand with behaviour and awareness campaigns

How can governments employ awareness and behaviour campaigns to empower citizens to save energy amid the current global energy crisis?

NUDGE is glad to present its results and recommendations in the International Energy Agency (IEA) event. Join live or catch up with the recording!

Background information

With the intense focus on energy security, affordability and climate goals, programmes to reduce consumer energy demand through behavioural interventions are an increasingly important tool for policymakers. Such initiatives represent some of the lowest-cost and quickly realisable energy savings available to governments.

Join the IEA Energy Efficiency Division as it hosts a special workshop for officials on best practice in behaviour and awareness campaigns for energy demand reduction and crisis response. The workshop will hear from officials and select speakers from the public, private and third sectors, about efforts to increase consumer awareness and encourage behaviour change to boost efficiency.

Participation in the workshop is limited to invited government officials and speakers, but the event will be livestreamed on below page.
